Position: Warehouse Associate (Picker) 

Location: Tacoma, WA 

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $17.50/hour

Experience: 1 year of RF scanning experience.

Type: Full-time; Contract 

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (Must be okay with OT and Sat and Sun; OT can vary from 6:00am to 6:00pm)

Job Description: 

  1. Assist with order picking, packing, sorting, and labeling.
  2. Use RF scanners to complete tasks.
  3. Ensure orders are prepared according to company guidelines.
  4. Communicate with warehouse staff and teammates regarding daily tasks and assignments.
  5. Open crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items received.
  6. Inspect shipments for damage and defects.
  7. Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart.
  8. Maintain computerized and physical inventory records.
  9. Read and fill requisitions for stock items and verify accuracy of orders pulled.
  10. Maintain custody receipts for items being repaired and loaned out temporarily.
  11. Load and unload delivery truck by hand or by use of hand truck.
  12. Perform other warehouse duties as needed

 

Position Requirements: 

  1. Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States. 
  2. Must have reliable transportation. 
  3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 
  4. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
